A Q&A with the founder of Narrative Justice Project where she discusses her inspiration, motivations, and vision for the organization.

Our Purpose

SCALES IMAGE.jfif

I founded the Narrative Justice Project in 2019 as a space to utilize individual voice and personal experience as tools to understand societal changes we must make. My specific research and writing as an interdisciplinary law professor at Widener University Delaware Law School focuses predominantly on women’s rights in the corporate social responsibility space. I designed the Project to empower women through critical narratives, art, and inter-connected causes.

I am excited to announce that in 2025, the Project will launch an on-line journal, Justice Reads, which will publish poems, fiction, personal essays, digital art, and interviews with feminist leaders in law, business, art, and policy. Justice Reads will concentrate on inter-connected women’s rights issues, education, and empowerment.

Partnering with my home institution, Widener University Delaware Law School, and interns and fellows from schools in New York, the Project endeavors to help women through education about domestic violence, financial literacy, and the importance of sharing our stories. I shared one part of my story in 2023 through a TEDx Talk: Teaching Financial Awareness in Cultures of Silence.

To help us launch this new initiative, we ask you to make a tax-deductible donation through the link or mail information below. Your contribution will support our internship program and enable us to provide writers a stipend. We thank you in advance for your support.

I look forward to sharing more with you in 2025!

Sincerely,
